Get ready for the new daily show

WATCH: New extended dream sequence from The Walking Dead will leave you in tears. Probably.

We have a very love/hate relationship with The Walking Dead. Honestly, we think more episodes are dire than are great but we keep watching.

One of the reasons we watch is because we know that the show, for all its flaws, still has the ability to shock us – usually with the death of characters we’ve grown to really like.

Two of those death were Abraham and Glenn, both killed in one stomach churningly awful scene when Negan decided to teach  Rick and the gang a lesson.

After the scene at the beginning of last season we saw a brief dream sequence in which both characters had survived and were living their lives peacefully in Alexandria.

But now we get an extended version of that scene… because our loss still isn’t raw enough:

“See Glenn playing with the child he will never meet on a blanket while also admiring Eugene’s remote controlled car. Witness Abraham and a pregnant Sasha relaxing blissfully on a bench. Watch Maggie tickling her son and kissing Glenn one final time. Everyone looks so damn happy — even Carol, Michonne, and Aaron as they bring food, drink, and firewood to the table.”

Check out the scene below… and we’re not crying, you’re crying!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
