WATCH: New Spider-Noir trailer focuses on the villains

April 23rd, 2026 by Marc Comments

We have a new look at the villains of the upcoming Spider-Noir series starring Nicolas Cage as the titular hero.

And, not going to lie, the villainous line-up looks pretty damned great.

Carrying on the story of Spider-Noir from the Spider-Verse movies, this is going to be one to watch.

The upcoming streaming series Spider-Noir reimagines some of Marvel Comics’ most popular heroes and villains as Prohibition Era gumshoes and gangsters squaring off in New York City in 1933.

Nicolas Cage’s The Spider will battle mob boss Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson), Sandman (Jack Huston), Tombstone (Abraham Popoola), and Megawatt (Andrew Lewis Caldwell).

In related news, co-showrunner Oren Uziel has revealed in an interview with SFX Magazine that there are more, unannounced spinoffs coming.

“I’m focused on Spider-Noir, but I know there are others in the works,” he says, adding: “I’ve talked a bit to the people working on them and I think they are very exciting. They’re following a little bit of that same formula [as Spider-Noir], that same idea of taking a genre and elevating it by putting a Spider-variant into it. It opens up a whole new world, and it’s just an extremely exciting opportunity.”

Hmmmmmm… there’s something for you to ponder; what other Spider-Verse spinoffs would you like to see? Spider-Gwen? Spider-Punk? Someone else? I wanna know.

Spider-Noir debuts domestically on MGM+ on May 25 and then globally on Prime Video on May 27 as a binge release.
