Ahead of its release next week, we have a load of new footage from the upcoming DC series Peacemaker.
Starring John Cena as the anti-hero Peacemaker, reprising his role from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, the series looks to have more in common with Deadpool than the standard DC content we know so far… with the exception of HBO Max’s awesome Harley Quinn series, perhaps.
Today we have a full new NSFW trailer as well as a few new clips from the series. This is an acquired taste by the looks of it, but there’s no denying that Cena’s Peacemaker was a lot of fun in The Suicide Squad so there’s certainly potential for this to be great.
Peacemaker is an upcoming HBO Max action-comedy series based on the DC Comics villain of the same name. The series is produced by DC Entertainment and Troll Court Entertainment. It is a spin-off/sequel to The Suicide Squad and the first television series in the DC Extended Universe. It is set to premiere on January 14th, 2022.
Peacemaker is a live-action series that follows Christopher Smith AKA Peacemaker, an extremist murderer who believes he’s on a quest for peace, killing anyone and everyone to achieve his ultimate goal. #Peacemaker
