While we at FTN have been lucky enough to see the first two episode of Rebels Season 3 at Star Wars Celebration Europe this summer, we are still buzzing with every new piece of footage, images and info we can find.
And, with that in mind, here’s an all-new trailer for the season which really focuses on the threat of arguably Star Wars’ most famous villain – outside of Vader and Maul – Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Thrawn is a mast tactician and an all round bad ass and he’s got his targets set on Kanan and the crew of The Ghost. And we’re far beyond mere excitement at this stage.
The one-hour premiere will introduce newcomers to the series: Grand Admiral Thrawn and the mysterious Bendu. Followers of the animated action-adventure series will also be reunited with the title characters, who sport some hefty redesigns in newly revealed images.
The Season 3 premiere can be seen on Saturday, September 24 at 8:30 pm EDT.
