WATCH: Rick and Morty Thanksgiving short will kick animal lovers in the feels

November 23rd, 2017 by Marc Comments

As it’s Thanksgiving tomorrow, the good people at Adult Swim have given us a touching Rick and Morty short starring Mr Poopybutthole himself.

You can watch the video below but beware, animal lovers will catch this one square in the feels.

As always, Rick and Morty creators like to stuff loads of fun stuff in their work… keep an eye our for Pickle Rick, Toxic World, a conquakulations card signed by Summer and even Mr Poopybutthole proposing to Rick.

We’re sure there’s loads we’ve missed so feel free to point them all out below or on our social pages…

Enjoy these warm and squishy moments as we explore all that Mr. Poopybutthole has to be thankful for.

Rick and Morty is Adult Swim’s most scientifically accurate animated comedy. Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, it catalogues the bizarre misadventures of a bored scientific genius/drunkard and his socially awkward grandson, Morty. Their exploits tend to have unintended consequences for Morty’s dysfunctional family, especially his unfailingly mediocre father, Jerry.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
