While we all continue to pace the floor in anticipation of Netflix’s Sandman series, the streamer has dropped a behind-the-scenes featurette that, while featuring no footage from the series, has enough locations and props to drive fans of Neil Gaiman’s timeless comic series mad with excitement.
The video, below, features Gaiman as well as stars Tom Sturridge who plays Dream and Lucifer herself, Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie.
Fans of Sandman who pay close attention – like any of you won’t – will spot Morpheus’ bag of sand, elaborate helm and the Dreamstone Ruby. We also see Matthew The Raven, Sandman’s helmet, the Magdalene Grimoire and… is that Abel’s baby Gargoyle?!
If none of this means anything to you, just imagine how much fun this series is going to be and if it does, imagine how exciting it’ll be to see this all come to life onscreen!
Gaiman previously assured fans the series is still set for a 2021 release despite that damned virus… we hope he’s right.
