Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, has been appearing at Wizard World, Philidelhia and he’s been talking about the upcoming crossover between The CW’s Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and now Supergirl. And he has managed to make us even more excited than we were…

Asked by one fan if there will be a crossover this year, Amell said it will be a massive four night event and, understandably, the crowd went mental: “I think what we’ll end up seeing is one giant four-night crossover. How we’re going to end up doing that… I don’t know. But this is kind of an unprecedented moment in terms of the history of network television. To have four shows, same showrunner. Obviously Supergirl is in a little bit of a different universe, but we can fix that. That’s one line of dialogue and it’s all fixed. So I would suspect Oliver will be meeting Supergirl at some point.”

Hmmmmm… it sounds like he just hinted that Supergirl will no longer be on a different earth, like she was last season. Could the finale of Flash Season 2, which may have set up Crisis, be a way to bring the earths together?

The actor went on, saying he’s confident that Oliver Queen and Supergirl will meet soon and adding: “All I want to see is Supergirl fly and David Ramsey’s (Diggle) reaction to it. That’s really all we want to see. And I’m still mad I haven’t shared a scene with Victor Garber yet, so as long as that ends up happening I’ll be good.”

Man, four nights of that sort of goodness before Christmas this year? Well that will be simply awesome…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
