WATCH: Teaser arrives for Gotham Season 5 PLUS Bane! Harley! Batman! Loads of cool stuff coming

Big news for the last year of Gotham from NY Comic Con at the weekend.

The guys from DC World were there and got the goodies.

So, the show’s panel at the event dropped some cool news about the final season. It was confirmed that Harley Quinn will be in the season and will meet up with Cameron Monaghan’s Joker who we can’t call Joker – see the images at the bottom of the page for your first look at the character.

It was also confirmed, as we speculated a few weeks ago, that Bane will be in the show and will be played by actor Shane West.

But the most interesting part?

“As the cast were about to leave stage the show Producer John Stephens did shout that the Final episode , episode 10, is set 10 years into the future so will get to see the pointy ear character arrive. Taking this into consideration I can only imagine we will see many of the characters we all love, get to be in their final incarnations in the series finale when it airs.”

Yes, we’re going to see Gotham with a fully matured caped crusader in the final episode… it has us wondering of that’s when we’ll meet Bane? imagine the very last scene in the series was Bane stepping into the light and Batman turning and running at him… fade to black.

Aaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

We doubt that’s happen but, still… always leave them wanting more!

Here’s the teaser for the fifth season:

And finally… it looks like we are getting Harley Quinn for the show’s final season with Ecco’s stunt double revealing the character’s look for the fifth season:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
