DC’s Legends of Tomorrow may be on a break until March 31st but The CW has just released a new sizzle reel to remind us they’re out there.

The show has been renewed, along with Arrow and The Flash, so it must be feeling pretty good about itself.

We’re loving the light but fun tone of the show and can’t wait too see what the second half of the season holds and if the team will change next season like we’re hearing.

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

The cast includes Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein / Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer / Atom, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance / White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson Jackson / Firestorm, Ciara Renée as Chay-Ara / Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl, Falk Hentschel as Khufu / Carter Hall / Hawkma, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory / Heat Wave and Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart / Captain Cold.  Quentin Crump recurrs as the villanous Vandal Savage.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
