The full trailer has just landed for new X-Men live-action TV series, The Gifted.
Alongside Legion, it looks like the X-Men are setting out to be a real player in the live-action comic book arena and we can’t wait to see this!
We have a cracking cast in place for X-Men: The Gifted including Joss Whedon favourite Amy Acker, True Blood’s Stephen Moyer and Gotham’s Jamie Chung, and now we have a teaser with a full trailer set for May 15th.
The pilot will be directed by frequent X-Men movie director Bryan Singer and it will air this Fall.
The action-adventure project focuses on two ordinary parents (Moyer and Acker) who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
Acker will star as Kate Stewart, a woman who is struggling with her separation from her husband, Reed (Moyer) and her increasingly challenging teenage children. When her family situation takes a dark turn, she finds that she’s stronger than she thinks.
What tore them apart will bring them together. Watch the trailer for @TheGiftedonFOX, coming this Fall. #TheGifted #AreYouGifted pic.twitter.com/sfLEqSASb2
