While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 remains the best thing Marvel/Disney has put out since Avengers: Endgame, it’s time for it’s most wooden character to return for the second season of his animated series.
Yes, Groot returns for a second set of animated adventures which are set to pick up immediately after the first season ended and, most interesting of all, I’m hearing that Jeffrey Wright’s Watcher will appear, reprising his role from the What If…? animated series.
Originally classified as a standalone series – ie not part of the wider MCU – it has since been announced that this is still part of the larger narrative.
