Yes!
Just ahead of its first season finale tomorrow, we have news that Peacemaker on HBO Max has just got a second season and will be fully written and directed by James Gunn.
While the show was hardly on my radar at all before it was released, Peacemaker has become possibly my favourite show on TV right now – Ozark and The Book of Boba Fett were tying with it but they’ve ended their current seasons – and John Cena’s Peacemaker is a character that I care much more about than I ever thought possible.
No word yet on when it’ll hit screens but whenever it is, we’ll be counting down the days.
Peacemaker is an upcoming HBO Max action-comedy series based on the DC Comics villain of the same name. The series is produced by DC Entertainment and Troll Court Entertainment. It is a spin-off/sequel to The Suicide Squad and the first television series in the DC Extended Universe. It is set to premiere on January 14th, 2022.
Peacemaker is a live-action series that follows Christopher Smith AKA Peacemaker, an extremist murderer who believes he’s on a quest for peace, killing anyone and everyone to achieve his ultimate goal. #Peacemaker
