Get ready for Ragnarok with the new Assassin’s Creed

January 15th, 2020 by Geralt of Australia Comments

Assassin’s Creed is arguably one of the top game series that there is, with the ever-changing story and its ability to keep fresh by utilising history for new and interesting story-lines, along with the last few also having new and invigorated gameplay for something that was completely different to anything that we’d witnessed so far.

Well, now comes one of the ones I’ve been waiting for: The assassins are going back to the viking age for Assassin’s Creed: Ragnarok.

Now you’ll have to keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed yet and this news is mainly speculation and some assumption going off leaks from both Amazon and GameStop, although seeing that the same data is coming from two completely unrelated sources I’d have to say that that does lend some credibility.

So far this game is rumoured coming out on both Xbox one and the X series, PS4 and most likely PS5 too, also looking back at the last two games it’s probable that it will be an October release which will match the last two games and will release just before the regular slew of CoD and Battlefield games that are usually released in November.

As for gameplay, that is all just speculation, but due to the fact that we’ll be dealing with Vikings, I think it’s safe to say that we’ll have a lot of sailing involved, possibly building your own ship and raiding  towns and settlements.

I, for one, am hoping that due to the consoles it’s being released on that it will have the size to accompany a few different countries to raid like the UK and France which both sustained vicious and regular viking raids between the eighth and eleventh centuries.

For me, this will be the most anticipated Assassin’s Creed game there is: Apart from this, I want to see a modern day or WW2 version.

Be sure to stay tuned for more developing news and keep your eves peeled for Odin.

Stay nerdy folks.
