Well, we have another planet to explore! In honor of May the 4th (be with you), EA and DICE have revealed stills of one of the new planets we’ll be able to play in when Battlefront is released. One of 12 as they would later reveal.

Sullust was actually mentioned in Return of the Jedi, but we were never able to see it. But now, the team at DICE have gone to great lengths to not only visualize this planet, but to make it something special.

“The overall look and feel for Sullust is very much Imperial and under construction, playing in locations within the planet such as a lava theme, sulfur theme, Death Star-inspired theme and lastly a mine theme,” reads the EA and DICE blog post.

They went on,

“We wanted to create a planet on our own, first trying out different ideas and then deciding on a lava planet,” adds Anton Grandert, Concept Artist at DICE. “…With black sharp rocks, huge land shifts, red lava, turquoise lakes, and white smoke… everything to make it really colorful yet imposing and threatening.”

Based on what we’ve seen, they’ve succeeded! But the true test will be how it looks and plays when Battlefront arrives November 17th.
