The Top 3 Nerd Culture-Inspired Slots

What many people don’t really know about slots is that there’s just SO MANY which are inspired by nerd culture that it’s absolutely insane. If I had enough time to dedicate to this, I could’ve easily made this top 3 list into a top 20 list, and it still wouldn’t have been comprehensive! Batman, Tomb Raider, Jurassic Park, Hitman, Game of Thrones, Transformers, X-Men, Ghostbusters and oh so many more nerd properties have been converted into slots which are actually really, really fun! But sadly if I went on I’d be here all day! So I’ve picked three of my favorite slots which I believe are the most fun, at least for me, personally. Have a different opinion? Aliens

James Cameron bears the rather unique distinction of directing not one, but two of the most successful movie sequels of all time – “Terminator 2” and “Aliens”. Coincidentally, these sequels have also spawned two of the best slots of all time. It was really hard for me to pick between the “Terminator 2” slot and the “Aliens” slot, but ultimately I went with the latter simply because of the amazing first-person minigame which reminded me of the classic “Alien vs Predator” games. If you manage to get enough wins in a row, you can begin your descent into the nest of the Alien Queen while collecting bullets and bonuses and trying to survive the onslaught of Facehuggers and Aliens. It’s surprisingly tense, especially for something with next to no interactivity!

The Avengers

Show of hands – who here is excited for “Captain America: Civil War”? I bet most of you are! Of course I can’t wait either – May 6th just can’t come soon enough! But for those of us who want to do something to pass the time, there’s always the fantastic “Avengers” slot which features some surprisingly awesome music and four different bonus games, one for each different Avenger. Naturally, slots and casino culture in general had to be on the list of things to be parodied, and what better way to do so than through an online slot? The “South Park” slot is damn near perfect – it looks fantastic (literally like something that’s been pulled out of the show), it plays great, it’s got tons of bonus games and bonus features, it’s a dream come true.
