TMNT to get a new game based on the Nickelodeon hit

March 5th, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

With the new Nickelodeon series recently renewed for a third season, the movie back on schedule, and with comics hotter than ever it seems the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in a major way. Of course this means we need a video game right? Well Activision feels the same way. The heroes in the half shell will return to consoles this summer in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

“Sporting a hyper-realistic visual style, four-player online cooperative play, and ample opportunity to unleash shell from behind the Foot Clan-thwarting skills of Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo, the downloadable title will be available on XBLA, PSN, and Steam.”

TMNT: Out of the Shadows appears to be the first in a 3 TMNT game deal between Activision and Nickelodeon. Why only downloadable though? It doesn’t show a lot of faith. What do guys think? What about the art style?
