This new title preserves the essence of the original game, while introducing modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics.

With its fully polygonal backgrounds, Resident Evil Code: Veronica expanded the scope of horror expression through dynamic camerawork and three-dimensional stage design.

The game is known for its sibling co-protagonists, Claire and Chris Redfield, and its story in which the characters’ love, hate, and madness are intertwined.

In addition to the core resource-management gameplay, it featured expanded exploration and a change in playable character between the first and second.
