Well, we’ve glimpsed Jason Momoa as Aquaman in Batman V Superman and we got a good taste of his character in the new trailer for Justice League (here) and, yeah, we dig it.
But now director James Wan has shared the first image from the set of the Aquaman movie on Twitter (below) and we’re so excited to live in a world where an Aquaman movie is filming!
The image seems to be of the interior of a submarine (perhaps the one filming Aquaman in BvS? Just a thought) and has the words “Months of intensive prep have led to this. Here we go” written by Wan.
We also think it’s safe to assume that the movie is codenamed Ahab… and we reckon that’s a pretty obvious Moby Dick reference.
So there you have it… Aquaman is officially filming.
Aquaman is released on December 21st, 2018
