With the spooky season all over, the last big part of the year we have is Christmas and, as always, there’s tons of Christmas movies and TV shows being released (most of them by the BBC but who’s counting?).
This year we’re getting something a little different to look forward to (hopefully) with Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds in a musical re-imagining of A Christmas Carol.
Sean Anders and John Morris who have worked with Ferrell in Daddy’s Home have been attached to write and produce the film, however, no studio has currently been named as the project is apparently still being shopped around.
Now Ferrell and Reynolds have only worked together once back in 1999 for the Richard Nixon comedy Dick, and even though they were in the same movie together, neither of them actually shared a scene so if this goes ahead it will be their first time on screen together.
Personally, I’ve never been too interested in Christmas movies, with the exceptions being Die Hard and the Doctor Who specials, but this one I’m definitely going to watch so until it comes out, stay nerdy folks.
