Never one for hyperbole, Vin Diesel has just shared his feelings about the script for the eleventh and final Fast & Furious movie.
Taking to social media to share a post about the original movie’s re-release in cinemas to celebrate its 25th anniversary, Diesel shared that he had just finished Mike Leslie’s script and, well, he was impressed. He hinted that it will tie back to the very first movie – Diesel has said in the past that he wants the final chapter to go back to the street racing of the earlier movies and not the superhero-like franchise it became later on.

Reacher star Alan Ritchson, who appeared in Fast X, says the next movie has financial issues that need solving before filming happens. Saying he is very involved in the movie’s production, Ritchson says: “[Universal and Vin Diesel are] solving some big problems.
“It’s expensive to make— it’s too expensive; it doesn’t make a ton of sense. There’s a more efficient way to shoot those shows.”
“You have no idea…” he writes on Instagram (below), “When March 17th 2028 comes… you will thank God you got to see the First one in the theaters this summer.
“I just read the Fast Forever script by Mike Leslie. It is the best script I have read in decades.
“I am still crying…”
The final chapter, called, as Diesel says, Fast Forever, will be directed by The Transporter and Incredible Hulk’s Louis Leterrier and writer Lesslie has previously penned The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

I’m a big, big fan of the Fast and Furious franchise and I’m looking forward to the final chapter but I have to give it to Diesel; he sure knows how to big up a movie.
