Yes my fellow Nerds and Nerdettes, the 5th Annual Yellow Fever Film Festival will be taking place at the Dublin Road Movie House, Belfast from 6th – 8th September and it shaping up to an amazing event.

Hosted by George Clarke, Belfast’s most successful independent film maker, The Yellow Fever Film Festival showcases a number of short and feature length films, including screenings of documentaries and also a classic film, and this year has some great additions.

With over 20 films being shown in one weekend, some of which will be followed by a live Q&A session with the filmmakers themselves, this is a film festival complete with an award ceremony on the Sunday Evening.

Highlights of this years festival include a workshop taking place in SFX and Make-Up Workshop which will be held at The Holiday Inn, Belfast. Another main highlight of this festival is a special screening of the 1922 classic Nosferatu on the big screen with live score by local music legend Paul McMordie and friends.

With a red carpet Gala Dinner on Sunday Evening culminating in the awards ceremony, The Yellow Fever Film Festival really is the premier film festival in Ireland for independent film makers.
