Arkham Knight Release Date Announced. Again.

September 8th, 2014 by Dave Bowling Comments

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios announced in June that the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight had been bumped from its planned October 2014 release to an “unspecified” date in 2015. Now, the companies have revealed the new release date – June 2, 2015.

Additionally, two collector’s editions of the title have been announced: the Arkham Knight Limited Edition set and Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition. Both come with statues of Batman and the Batmobile respectively, along with:

– 80 page, full colour art book showcasing the concept art of the game;

– Unique SteelBook case and game disc;

– Limited edition DC Batman: Arkham Knight #0 Comic Book;

– Three unique character skins from DC Comics’ The New 52

Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s redesigned Batmobile, which is drivable in-game for the first time. The game will see Batman facing off against villains including Penguin, Scarecrow, Two-Face and Harley Quinn.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. At least that’s the plan.

The death ray is currently in the works and one day you shall all bow to him, his giant space station and fleet of funky orange space shuttles...
