Get ready for the new daily show

We’re so excited for these new Stranger Things books!

One of our favourite things in the world right now is Stranger Things.

Netflix’s hit TV show has tapped into our childhood in ways no other series even came close to doing so obviously we wan tall the Stranger Things goodness we could get.

And lo, our prayers have been answered with an upcoming series of Stranger Things books from Del Rey Books, Random House Children’s Books, Cornerstone Publishing, and Penguin Random House Children’s UK.

The first two books will arrive this fall and the first will be a behind-the-scences companion book called Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion. The second book will be a hardcover gift book for young readers with “advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world”. Whatever that means.

Following on from that, and the one we’re really excited for, we’ll get a prequel novel that will focus on Eleven’s mother and her time in the MKUltra program.

Other adult and younger reader titles will be released over the course of 2019, when the third season of the show is also expected to arrive.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
