Hello and welcome to the latest episode of the following the nerd show. This episode was recorded live on Thursday, March 26th, 2015.

On the show this week we’ll be talking comic book reveals, including The Thing from the Fantastic four and the big one… Jesse Eisenberg as the man who would rule the world… Lex Luthor.

We’ll also be talking about the latest news regarding the look of Harley Quinn and Deadshot in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad movie – and we think this will be a real fan pleaser.

The Winter Soldier directors, the Russo brothers, are confirmed as taking over for Joss Whedon for Avengers: Infinity War, Jennifer Lawrence hands in the blue make-up after X-Men Apocalypse and is the Star Wars live-action tv show back on the schedule at Lucasfilm?

On top of all that, we’ll also be talking about how Game of Thrones WILL ruin the ending of the books; Prometheus 2 and Alien 5 plot rumours and details and, “say, would you like a chocolate covered pretzel?” Yes, we have casting news for Kevin Smith’s Mallrats 2… and it has us all at FTN smiling like idiots. Not that there’s anything new there.

We’ll also have Stuart from the Monday Movie Show Podcast on with the latest movie news and boxoffice top ten countdown.

As always, I’m your host Marc and with me once more in the studio I have the man who’s first published work is due next week, it’s called 1001 selfies: A cosplayer’s life on facebook. He’s just applied for the new position at the BBC where a new opening has become available on a car review show, although they told him he was far too mean and nasty for the role, whatever that means… His family know him as Stephen but to everyone else he’s known simply as… Saxon

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
