THR have confirmed that Joel Edgerton (Warrior) is in talks to play Ramses in Ridley Scott’s Exodus. He would be joining Christian Bale who is set to star as Moses.
The original script for the film was written byAdam Cooper and Bill Collage. Steve Zaillian worked on the rewrite. No official details are known about the story at this time, but it is a well known tale after all.
Exodus was one of two Moses films in development in Hollywood, but Warner Bros.’ own project hit a wall when Steven Spielberg dropped out.
Production is expected to begin in September.
