Thanks to EW, we have the first official photo of Scarlett Johansson as the title character Lucy in Luc Besson’s upcoming film. Check it out above, released prior to the April 2nd release of the first trailer for the film!
Lucy is action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.
What we know about the story:
“centers on a woman forced to become a drug mule. But the drug instead goes into her system, transforming her into an ass-kicking machine. She can absorb knowledge instantaneously, is able to move objects with her mind and can’t feel pain and other discomforts”.
Lucy is scheduled to hit theaters on August 8nd 2014.
