The first photos from the set of Pacific Rim: Maelstrom have leaked online.
The images features our first look at John Boyega as Idris Elba’s Jaeger-meister son. Paparazzi spotted him filming scenes in which he’s searching for something. Led by some sort of mechanic tracker, he heads through rundown, poverty-ridden streets as he passes by homeless in camping tents.
Steven S. DeKnight, the man behind Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil, is directing Maelstrom, which also stars Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian, and Levi Meaden.
Pacific Rim: Maelstrom is set for release on 23 February 2018.
