Christmas has come early for fans of the Taken franchise starring Liam Neeson, as 20th Century Fox has released two new clips, with the first being a “12 Skills of Christmas,” which are 12 quintessential tips that everyone should know how to accomplish around the holiday period. Times are tough… and you don’t want anyone coming in to steal the xmas presents that are lying so quaintly under the xmas tree. So learn these moves and you should be fine should any unlucky criminal step upon your property…

The second clip is a promo for the new film which is released on the 9th of January 2015. The plot isn’t as ridiculous as some were predicting, but obviously suspension of disbelief has got to play a major factor in whether you are going to enjoy it or not. It’s one of those cases where you “use your brain,” before you purchase a ticket as you know what to expect. People who come out waxing lyrical about how unrealistic the film was blah dee blah dee blah, deserve to have spent the last hour dissatisfied. So yeah… “use your brain,” to decide if you want to go and watch a mindless action film.

Liam Neeson is back (obviously), as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, and his reconciliation with his ex-wife doesn’t last long as it is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered (…whoops; spoiler! …just kidding). Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, Mills goes on the run whilst trying to prove his innocence. He must use his skills to evade the relentless chase from the CIA, FBI and the police, and must also track down the killers and make sure proper justice has been served. All this whilst looking after the only thing that matters to him now… his daughter.

Here are the clips folks. Enjoy, and get practicing those 12 special skills that are fundamental assets to know during the holidays:
