According to Variety, Rashida Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard are in contention for the female lead in Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man. But no one has been offered the role yet. If some of you remember Rashida Jones was linked to the role back in October. Bryce Dallas Howard does seem unlikely as she will be busy with Jurassic World.
The site adds Jessica Chastain was also approached for the part but passed on it.
Who would you prefer to get the role?
Edgar Wright is directing from a script that he has co-written with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). So far it stars Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd as Hank Pym and Scott Lang, respectively.
The film, which will launch Marvel’s Phase Three, will hit theaters on July 31st, 2015.
