AMC has officially released the first poster for season 5 of The Walking Dead above, which fans will see at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con! The panel for the series will take place on Friday, July 25th at 12:20 pm Pacific Time in Hall H. Featured on the poster are Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, and Michael Cudlitz
Based on the comic created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
Last fall, AMC confirmed that The Walking Dead would return for Season 5 in October, and that Scott Gimple, the series’ current showrunner, would return as well. The 16 episode season will presumably be split in half, with the first eight episodes airing in the Fall and the second eight airing the next year as usual.
