It seems Hollywood will be taking some big productions to Louisiana in the upcoming months. While still not 100% confirmed, Production Weekly has tweeted start dates and locations for the next installments of the Fantastic Four, Terminator and Jurassic World.
According to them, The Fantastic Four ( rumored to be Fantastic Four Reborn) will kick things off in Baton Rouge on March 31st. To be directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle), the 20th Century Fox release has been scheduled to hit theaters on June 19, 2015, we’ve had rumors but no cast members have yet been announced.
Terminator is up next (rumored to be called Terminator: Genesis) and is expected to start filming on April 21st in New Orleans. It will be directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) is shooting for a July 1, 2015 release. Emilia Clarke is said to be on board to play Sarah Connor, and Jason Clarke is in talks to play her son John Connor, with Arnold Schwarzenegger expected to return to his iconic role. They will be looking at actors next week for the role of Kyle Reese.
And finally, Jurassic World plans to start shooting in Louisiana on June 2nd. No specific city was mentioned yet, but Colin Trevorrow will be directing Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson and Irrfan Khan have been cast with Chris Pratt rumored to take the lead role. The movie hits theaters on June 12, 2015.
