When actor James Gandolfini died this year on June 19th, it left a very huge gap in the acting world. The award winning actor will forever be best known for his role as troubled Mafia boss Tony Soprano on HBO’s hit TV series, ‘The Sopranos’.
It’s only fitting then that HBO are going to air a tribute to Gandolfini with a special TV event celebrating his work. The special will feature clips from his work as well as behind-the-scenes footage perhaps never seen. Entitled, ‘James Gandolfini: Tribute to a Friend’ it is set to air Sunday, Dec. 22, at 8:30 PM ET.
I for one will be tuning in to see this as I am a huge admirer of the man and his work and I urge everyone to do the same.
James Gandolfini RIP
