WATCH: New teasers and poster drop for Quantum Leap reboot

September 1st, 2022 by Marc Comments

We’re only three weeks away from – and I still cannot believe I’m writing this – the return of Quantum Leap.

One of my all-time favorite TV shows is finally returning… though, not going to lie, I have a feeling this will be, at best, a cheap copy of the iconic series.

But I hope I’m wrong.

Check out the new teaser below in which Raymond Lee’s Dr Ben Song leaping back into a very unique situation… and the official logo, above.

It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished.

Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.

Embracing the iconic series’ signature blend of humor, heart, and history, this reboot expands upon the Quantum Leap universe, taking us on a thrilling journey across space and time, exploring the timeless notion of what it’s like to walk in another person’s shoes, and the enduring value of changing lives for the better.

That time Sam Beckett almost leaped into Thomas Magnum

Lee plays the lead, Dr. Ben Seong, a world-renowned physicist working on a time-travel project known as Quantum Leap who gets stuck in the late 1980s with amnesia after using the technology.

Hudson portrays Herbert “Magic” Williams, a Vietnam veteran and head of the time travel project at Quantum Leap. Using a bit of politicking and his military know-how to keep the Pentagon at bay, Magic buys the team some time to rescue Ben but expects answers once he’s back.

Quantum Leap is set to premiere this fall on NBC.

The first teasers for the new series are HERE! History is not set – but our diaries in September can be!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
