The first trailer for the Biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings has arrived along with some posters!
The film follows Christian Bale (The Dark Knight) as Moses, chronicling the Biblical figure’s life from his adoption by Egyptian royalty through his revolution against Pharaoh Ramses II (Joel Edgerton). The trailer focuses on the Moses and Rhamses rivalry and provides glimpses at the Biblical plagues that befell Egypt.
Exodus: Gods and Kings is directed by Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator) and written by Adam Cooper & Bill Collage (Tower Heist, Accepted), with a rewrite by Steve Zaillian (American Gangster, Moneyball, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo).
The cast also includes Sigourney Weaver as Tuya, the mother of Ramses, John Turturro as Seti the father of Ramses, Aaron Paul as the Hebrew Slave Joshua, Ben Mendelsohn, Indira Varma and Hiam Abbass.
It will be released in the US on December 12th, 2014 and in the UK on December 26th.
