Jar Jar Binks is coming back! In a big way! Well, maybe.
Ahead of the new LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy miniseries, Jar Jar star Ahmed Best, who plays Darth Jar Jar in the series, has hinted that there’s more of him to come.
On the Star Wars Twitter/X, the star, talking about the new miniseries, replies to a fan’s comment that “we eating good in September,” by saying “oh, just you wait, there’s so much more on the menu!”
Then, in a post on his personal Instagram, the star can be seen holding a little Jar Jar figure and once more hinting of more to come:

Holding the little Darth Jar Jar Lego figure, Best wrote: “Me and this guy have been through a lot together. I really love what we’ve been through, where we are and where we’re going.”
Best famously had a hard time personally and professionally after playing Binks in the Star Wars prequels but over the years with things like Clone Wars and, more recently, when he played the Jedi Kelleran Beq in The Mandalorian, he’s become very welcomed into the community again, so this comment may not necessarily mean he’s only set to return as the long-eared Gungan because Beq’s story is still to be told after we last saw him rescue Grogu from the burning Jedi Temple.
Whatever it means, it’s great to see Best back and happy in Star Wars because, in our hearts, we’re still (mostly) a welcoming, lovely group of folk.
