Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice possible plot points are… exciting

We here at FTN are happy to go against the flow and say that WE ARE EXCITED FOR BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. There, we said it… bring the hate.

And we want it to be amazing. And some of us – myself included – think it will be.

ThisIsInfamous via Geektyrant have got some very interesting news from an extra on set in the movie who has some very, very interesting news about the filming of the ultimate superhero showdown. This is all rumour for now, but it sounds juicy…

The source says: “The ending has already been shot and one of the scenes involved has Batman breaking into LexCorp and stealing Kryptonite. In addition, LexCorp has gotten hold of the body of the fallen General Zod.”

Add this to a report at Badass digest that says: “Lex has been gathering whatever remains he can of the World Engine and then using that to synthesize Kryptonite. Add that to Zod’s corpse and what do you get? A plan to defeat Superman. But what does that entail specifically? There have been rumors for a while about this character’s potential involvement and … I think a good read through The Death of Superman should give you the answers you seek.”

Now, add to this our own report of Doomsday being spotted among leaked art for the movie (here) and we reckon – if this is true – it’s a safe guess that Luthor will create a bio-engineered villain to fight Superman and it may eventually lead to the creation of Doomsday… possibly for the Justice League to fight? Oh and there are rumours that Bizarro will be featured too… could Bizarro be one of Luthor’s failed attempts to create a Superman of his own? Or perhaps the Kryptonite could power Metallo?

This also ties into the reports that all the pics leaked from the set of buildings destroyed were caused by Lex… or perhaps his creation?

Thoughts on this, guys? Could BvS end on a cliffhanger (which we’ve said for a long time) withDoomsday be set up to fight the who Justice League?

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
