Ben Affleck teases (sort of) role for Sienna Miller in The Batman PLUS talks about his take on the character

Some of you may recall that Sienna Miller talked recently about Catwoman – or lack of Catwoman – in the new standalone Batman movie (here)

Well, in a new interview writer/director and star of The Batman standalone movie talks about Miller (who is with him) and rather cheekily teases that there may be a role for her in the movie… is this legit or is he having a little giggle at the previous rumours?

On the level though, would you like to see Miller in Batman?

On top of that, the director has also been talking about where his take on Batman is, compared to previous big screen versions: “It’s different in terms of tone and, obviously, just a different actor. I think the most profound difference is that I’m playing the part at an older age than those guys were when they played it, and it’s about a guy who’s had a long life of this experience, rather than someone who’s just setting out on the journey to become this guy. He’s older and wiser, I guess. And he was pretty pissed off in Batman v Superman, but now it’s not about finding revenge in Justice League, it’s about protecting the Earth. So the feel is different.”

Nothing we hadn’t seen or worked out already, but it’s always great to see that Affleck – a massive Batman fan in real life – know his Batmans (Batmen?).

And finally, after the who fiasco last week about wether or not Affleck was going to actually direct the Batman movie (he is!), it seems that the actor, currently promoting his new movie, Live By Night, is starting to get really tired of being asked about it as you can see in the clip below; seriously, how tired does he look at being asked about it?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
