Well it looks like Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Beverly Hills Cop 4 may go in front of cameras this year. Em, yay?
According to our friends at Darkhorizons, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has been talking about filming the sequels, despite Disney yet to confirm Pirates even being greenlit, with THR: “[I hope to] get [Pirates 5] going by this fall or end of the year if everything lines up properly”
Not done though, he went on to talk about the return of Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley for another outing in Beverly Hills (what? No Judge Reinhold?!) with Brett Ratner still attached. He said that there is a completed script and they hope to film in August/September once Ratner is done promoting Hercules: “We’re going to take Eddie back to Detroit. He’s going to be in Beverly Hills… So we’re going to have some fun with him”.
Right, em… we’re not sure what to say to this. We just have… nothing.
