It was announced late last year that Daniel Brul was going to be a villain in Captain America: Civil War.
Although it wasn’t known which villain… we’ve heard numerous times that Crossbones, played by Frank Grillo, would be the big bad in Civil War… many speculated that it may be Baron Zemo:
“Baron Helmut Zemo is the thirteenth Baron in the German Zemo family lineage. Following in the footsteps of his father before him, he is an enemy of Captain America and the Avengers. Zemo has led the Masters of Evil on several occasions and he also formed and lead the first incarnation of the Thunderbolts super-team.” Comicvine
Now, however, we need wonder no more it seems, thanks to a Captain America: Civil War casting call posted by Movie Casting Call which confirms the movie will begin filming on April 4th and says: “Daniel Brühl has joined the cast as Baron Zemo.”
Thinks are certainly warming up on the Civil War front…
