According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony have hired Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet to write the screen-play for the forthcoming Silver and Black movie based on popular Spider-man characters Silver Sable and Black Cat.
Beer and Robertson-Dworet have developed some serious nerd bone-fides over the last year: Beer has been working on the upcoming Chaos Walking Starring Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland as well as being a member of the writers’ room for Transformers, King Kong vs Godzilla and Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Star Trek project.
Robertson-Dworet was a screenwriter on this year’s upcoming Tomb Raider reboot as well as the much-anticipated Captain Marvel Starring Brie Larson.
Gina Price-Bythewood, whom also contributed to an earlier version of the script, is attached to direct the project which is slated for release some time in 2019 after being moved back from its original release date of October 2018.
As of the time of writing there is no-one attached to star as either of the title characters.
