Uh-oh, it looks like the Disney/FOX or, if you prefer, the Avengers/X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover is not set in stone yet!
Word has come in that the Disney buy out of 21st Century Fox’s asset is not as definite as once was assumed (here and here) as, as was being murmured over the last few weeks, Comcast have made a much larger bid, upping Disney’s $52.4 billion (all stock) to $65 billion (film and TV).
This comes a day after a federal judge had determined that AT&T’s proposed $85.4 billion purchase of Time Warner was legal.
So hold on to your butts, this could be set to be come one heck of a bidding war…
