We reported a few weeks ago that Charlie’s new group of Angels have been cast…
And now we can report that we were right. But wrong.
Huh?
Well, the rumour we reported what that Kristen Stewart (adventureland, Twilight) and Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther, The Force Awakens) and Naomi Scott (Power Rangers) were the new Angels and, well, two out of three ain’t bad.
Stewart and Scott are on the team but they will be joined by English actress Ella Balinska, best know for appearing in various TV dramas in the UK.
Previous reports that the movie will be directed and star Elizabeth Banks as Bosely are also accurate.
Bosely was has always been played by a man in the TV shows and movies – with Bill Murray nailing it in the first movie – but we can see Banks in the role. we’re guessing that, like the Angels themselves, Bosely is a code name… kinda like that James Bond theory.
Boesly was, of course, the liaison between the Angels and Charlie, a billionaire who would hire the three beautiful, badass women, to beat up bad guys, prevent dastardly deeds and, when necessary, save the world.
The movie is being touted as a reboot with these being all-new Angels but, well, the shows/movies have had various incarnations of the Angels anyway, so…
