With D23 now over, let’s look back at the ‘best of the rest’ as they say – the things that didn’t get a full article but are well worth noting.

There was a full leaked trailer, which you can see here, but I’m sure we’ll get an official release soon enough.
Olaf will have a love interest this time around called Samantha, who you can see below. I’m calling it now, she’s a villain controlled by the new big bad and either will sacrifice herself at the end of Olaf, or come around to be one of the good guys:

Olaf, Josh Gad, will have a love song for Samantha, which you can hear here.
Lilo & Stitch 2
Next up, we learned some details about Lilo & Stitch 2, which, just like in the animated series, will introduce Stitch’s love interest, Angel, the pink version of Stitch and she was teased at the event, which you can see below.
Angel will officially be featured in LILO & STITCH 2, revealed at D23.#LiloAndStitch #LiloandStitch2 pic.twitter.com/pGvP9pEqyq

Lilo & Stitch 2 arrives in cinemas on May 28th, 2028

We also got a poster for Lilo & Scratch, the all-new animated short, which will be attached to Hexed when it arrives in cinemas on November 25th:

Oh, and our first teaser of this new outing’s new villain:

Coco 2

We got our first official look at Miguel, now a teenager, returning from 2017’s Coco. Miguel is accompanied by his dog, Dante.
Star of the first movie, Benjamin Bratt, who played the villainous Ernesto de la Cruz, said of the sequel: “To some, Miguel is a little menace who ruined a career and destroyed a legacy.
“Ernesto de la Cruz is back for revenge, sending Miguel on an adventure back to the land of the dead. Proving fate has a sense of humor, Miguel must team up with a handsome superstar: me.”
Original Coco director Lee Unkrich is returning to direct with Adrian Molina.
Coco 2 is set for November 2029.
