This is a curious one… is Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk set to appear in Civil War after all?
Well, Hulk wasn’t part of the original comic story (he was off in space) and from the end of Age of Ultron we figured there were other plans for him – remember we speculated on where Hulk would go next (here)? – well Mark Ruffalo, who plays Banner and Hulk, has put out a mysterious Tweet that has some believing he may be set for Civil War after all.
Via Twitter and Tumblr, that actor said rather cryptically that the Civil War family has got a “little bit bigger.” and then added “Welcome to the wild party! Looking forward to this amazing cast.”
We don’t know the real meaning of the tweets, maybe he’s just looking forward to seeing the movie or maybe he’s teasing fans. But we’re certainly curious… what do you all think?
We hope he isn’t in it because it would cheapen the events of Age of Ultron, but with Marvel still having issues with the solo Hulk movie, this might well be a thing.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 5, 2016.
