Remember that Planet Hulk rumor Elmayimbe of Latino-Review posted back in February 2013? Well MTV News has found some cool concept art that may support that theory. Recently concept artist Josh Nizzi posted some unused concept art of characters that almost made it into Thor: The Dark World which included Asgardian hero Valkyrie, as well as some characters linked directly to “Planet Hulk” and “World War Hulk” storylines.
Kaifi (a reference to Elloe Kaifi who was a female) and Oldstrong (below) first appeared in “Planet Hulk.”
In it, the Hulk is deemed too dangerous to be on Earth, and is shot into space to live a solitary peaceful life, by the Illuminati (Dr. Strange; Black Bolt, Namor, Professor X, Iron Man, and Reed Richards). But instead he lands on the alien planet Saakar and is forced to battle aliens in a Gladiator type environment, eventually making friends with an Oldstrong, a Kronan (pic on bottom of page), Elloe Kaifi, and others.
Eventually in “World War Hulk” the Hulk makes it back to Earth and wants revenge.
