Though Phase 3 is technically a while away, we’re still getting snippets of information about what is going to happen in the films. Chief among them is Captain America: Civil War, which will feature Steve Rogers and Tony Stark going at it both physically and politically.

The question arises though, who’s movie is this? Is this more about two Avengers going at it? Or will this focus on one of them while the other supports the conflict? Robert Downey Jr. had this to say on whether Stark could be classified as a “bad guy” in the movie.

“I wouldn’t put it that way. Ultimately it’s Steve’s story; it doesn’t say ‘Iron Man 4: Civil War’. I think that’s great too. I think Chris [Evans] has been hungry to bring even more of an underside and some shadow to that. I remember the comics – on the surface you got the sense that Cap was baseball and apple pie, but underneath there was all this churning stuff of being a man out of time. Now we know he’s made his peace with that. What’s the bigger issue? It can have a little something to do with the past, but it can be about someone becoming more modernized in their own conflict.”

If Winter Soldier did anything, it showed that Cap is ready to step into the modern age and be the light he was back in the 40’s, it appears he’ll get the chance to be that light when Civil War arrives May 6, 2016
