Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shares first look at Black Adam and when we can see the movie

Finally! We have a release date for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s big entry into the world of comicbook characters as he has revealed on instagram when we will finally see… Black Adam!

And he also included what is, technically, our first look at him in the role as he shared some awesome art by comic legend Jim Lee and online poster maestro Boss Logo (above).

So we can expect to see Shazam!’s nemesis on the big screen on 22nd December 2021… and I’m already in live for that ticket!

The sat had this to say on the news: “BLACK ADAM is blessed by magic with the powers equal to SUPERMAN, but the difference is he doesn’t toe the mark or walk the line. He’s a rebellious, one of a kind superhero, who’ll always do what’s right for the people – but he does it his way. Truth and justice – the BLACK ADAM way.”

It will be fun to see the star step into a role that is a little less, well, good as Adam in an anti-hero verging on villain.
