Ah man, you know when you’re writing something and you just KNOW that, given the rivalry between Marvel and DC fans, it’s going to put noses out of joint?
Yeah, that.
So today we got two new posters for Thor: Ragnarok and, in fairness, they are pretty cool. However, fans of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice might notice something familiar about them.
So the posters (for Thor) are focused on the battle we’re all giddy to see between Thor and Hulk and each poster shows the heroes squaring up to each other from the opponent’s point of view and, well, take a look yourself.
Let’s not say they’re ripping them off, let’s say it’s a fun nod, ok? After all, two of the studios’ main guys showed us how it was done a couple of weeks back (here).
Anyway, here’s the posters for both movies for comparison.
Thor: Ragnarok is in cinemas on the 3rd of November 2017.
