Seriously, who didn’t love Agent 13 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, played by the lovely Emily VanCamp? We know we certainly loved her and hoped she’d be a love interest for Cap. Alas, it wasn’t to be.
But it may still be on the cards.
In the comics, Agent 13, Sharon Carter, who is the niece of Peggy Carter (although this isn’t clarified in the movies but hinted at) and now she’s confirmed as returning for Captain America: Civil War.
At this time her story in the sequel is under wraps but we reckon there might be something between her and Steve Rogers.
In other Civil War news, Martin Freeman’s (here) role may have been revealed…
Yes, Freeman may be an interrogator in the movie, with a role that will continue to Black Panther: “This could be the Cinematic Universe version of Everett Ross, a government liaison from the comics who becomes an expert on Wakanda and a friend to T’Challa. It also notes that “interrogator” shouldn’t be taken to mean “torturer,” noting that Freeman is an affable actor who will probably play a mild-mannered, likable character. Speculator further, it’s possible that Everett Ross could become another link between the government, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the Marvel movies, in addition to Maria Hill.”
It would make sense as Freeman, although proving he does have a dark side at time in Sherlock, is always the quintessential nice guy and we could cerrtainly see him in a role almost similar to Agent Coulson… what do you all think?
