While the world seems to be trying to work out where we’ll next see Spider-man in movie form, the lovely Felicity Jones has been talking about her role in Amazing Spider-man 2 and if she thinks she’ll be coming back to Oscorp in the future at any point.

Jones, who played Felicia Hardy in the web-slinging sequel, was undoubtedly excited to be cast in the Spidey movie as in one of the sequels or spin-offs she would undoubtedly have come back as her comic alter-ego, Black Cat – especially since there was much talk of a female villains standalone movie in the works.

Clevver movies asked the actress (below) if she thought she might be coming back to the role at any point. Her response was equal parts excited and restrained: “Well, she’s such a great character in the comics. I mean, if that happened, that would be lovely. There are no plans, but I’d love to play her. She’s a fantastic, awesome female character.”

We were quite looking forward to seeing her in the role (what?!) but we’re torn over the whole Spider-man scenario at the minute… what say you guys?

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
